Sialkot: A young girl in Sialkot District Hospital became another victim of doctors’ apathy, who have been on streets to get their salaries increased.
According to TV reports Iram died on a stretcher after waiting for doctors for hours with high fever. The reports said doctors refused to treat the ailing girl and left her to die.
The death sparked protest in the area when family of the deceased girl demanded an FIR against the protesting doctors of the hospital.
Police broke into the house of the family and tortured the protesting family, the reports added.
