Mubashir Luqman will be back on air soon on ARY

Lahore: Disgraced talk show host Mubashir Luqman said he would appear on screen again very soon on ARY TV.

He tweeted he would begin shooting a new promo in a day or two.

Luqman told Pakistan Today that he was joining ARY TV network and would soon be hosting a show on the channel. “I’m joining ARY after resolving my issues amicably with Dunya News,” he said.

Luqman had to resign from Dunya TV after the infamous ‘planted’ interview of real estate tycoon Malik Riaz, hosted by him and co-host Mehar Bukhari.

Earlier on June 18, Luqman said on Twitter that he would resume his career on Dunya TV and would answer all the allegations levelled against him. But he did not do so, and instead chose YouTube as a medium to justify his position.

He claimed that the video leak was a conspiracy against Dunya TV, as the channel was dominating its competitors.

He said he resigned from Dunya TV on his own will as the channel was under pressure because of him.

Mubashir types should be filtered away from the television. They bring a very bad name to this newborn media of ours. He needs to mature, get a grip over himself, learn the art of being an anchor person and stop bulleying the guests who come on his talk shows. He is far away from being a professional media anchorperson and talks more like a street urchin.
