Lahore: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has harshly criticized government for by passing Parliamentary resolution to reopen Nato supply routes.
Speaking at a press conference flanked by PTI leaders on Wednesday, Khan said no recommendation of the parliament was kept in view while deciding to reopen ground routes.
Khan said that Parliament’s recommendations, demanding an unconditional apology over Salala raid,halt in US drone attacks, 5000 dollars fee for per Nato container, assurance for respect of ground and airspace of Pakistan, have been by passed.
He said that the US had not sought an unconditional apology over the cross borer aggression.
The PTI chairman said President Obama had categorically said that the US would continue drone attacks in Pakistan.
He said the Parliament was of no use and it should be dissolved as it had failed to implement its resolutions.
Khan asked whether the Parliament aim was to protect corruption of President Asif Ali Zardari and its lawmakers.
Imran Khan said that that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz should clear its position on government’s move as it was also part of the committee to shape new terms of engagements with the United States.
He announced that the PTI would protest against the government decision on Thursday in Gunjranwala.
