Islamabad: Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday claimed that he accepted Supreme Court order of his disqualification like Socrates.
Speaking at a ceremony Gilani criticized the Supreme Court verdict in poetic way which meant he was not provided ample opportunity to explain his position.
Gilani said that he was the single former prime minister, living in the country after leaving the office while in the past some of the PM’s either go abroad or died.
He said that he had decided not to agitate against the Supreme Court orders of disqualifying him
The former prime minister was of the view that nobody could damage the the democratic process in Pakistan if one or two democratic governments complete their terms.
