Washington: The White House on Thursday termed the contempt vote from the House of Representatives against Attorney General Eric Holder as a “transparently political stunt.”
“Republicans pushed for political theater rather than legitimate Congressional oversight,” said White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer in a statement after the House censured Holder over a botched gun running sting, AFP reported.
