Kuala Lumpur: Pakistan defeated Malaysia by 249 runs in Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup on Tuesday.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against the hosts and put 304 runs on board for the lost of 4 wickets. Umar Waheed was the top scorer for the green shirts with 76 runs while Babar Azam scored 68 runs.
Malaysia’s SKG Krishnan, Anwar Rahman, P Nadaesan and Muhamad Syahadat took one wickets each.
Replying to this, inexperienced Malaysia showed no resistance against Pakistani bowlers and were all out for only 53 runs.
Pakistan’s Muhammad Nawaz took three wickets while Azizullah and Mir Hamza got two wickets each.
