Islamabad: Prime MinisterRaja Pervez Ashraf has invited disgruntled leaders of Balochistan to hold negotiations with the government to resolve the issue of Balochistan.
Addressing the first meeting of his cabinet the newly elected prime minister, said resolving Balochistan issue was his top most priority. He urged the Baloch leaders in and outside the country to hold talks withe the government.
He said directed the PIA, WAPDA and Steel Mills to improve their performance. The prime minister applauded former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for what he said his efforts to protect the Constitution.
The federal cabinet discussed ongoing power crisis in the country with the prime minister vowing not to let the power shortage to affect agriculture of the country.
The meeting also discussed law and order situation in the country.Earlier, most of the cabinet were absent when the premier reached to chair the meeting.
