Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has lashed out at the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz for moving petitions in the courts against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Speaking to media on Tuesday, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has become petition-league. He said: “We are respondents to 17 persons, a reference to the Supreme Court judges, instead we are respondents to people of Pakistan.
Memom said as to how those, who resorted to unconstitutional measures could speak of protecting the constitution. He said the N-League was fond of filing petitions in every other issue.
He said that efforts were made to carry out trial of the Pakistan People’s Party, adding that the Constitution was created by the parliamentarian and they also knew how to interpret it.
