Facebook has changed email addresses of all its users to @facebook.com apparently in an attempt to enhance email address privacy. That Facebook did so without asking the users, the move irritated many of them.
Everyone’s personal email addresses have been hidden from their profiles, regardless of previously selected privacy settings, Tech Crunch reported.
Instead, your @facebook.com contact info is the only one now visible. Unless you reset your controls, this makes it harder for friends to contact you via third-party email.
