Pakistan lodges protest with Nato, Afghanistan over militants’ attack

Islamabad: Pakistan has lodged strong protest with Nato and Afghanistan over the Sunday’s cross border militant attacks that killed its six soldiers.

 Military  sources said that over 100 militants penetrated into Pakistani side and killed six security men. They said the forces repulsed the attack, killing 14 militants.

Pakistan blames fugitive militant commander Maulvi Fazlullah, who it believes has been hiding in Nauristan province of Afghanistan , for launching attacks on Pakistani forces.

Islamabad said it had been asking the Afghan government  to take action against the militants, launching attacks in Pakistan.
