Twitter service has resumed ‘partially’ after almost an hour of interruption, the reason of which is unknown yet. Twitter posted an update in its status blog, saying: “Update: The issue is on-going and engineers are working to resolve it.”
The company updated earlier that: “Update: The issue has been resolved and all services are currently operational.”
A Twitter spokesperson said earlier that the company is looking into it, but did not say when the service may be back up.
Some users seemed to be able to access Twitter after sometime but with inconsistency.
“Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue,” the Twitter’s status blog posted early.
According to the stats on Pingdom, this looks to be Twitter’s worst crash in months.
As of February, the Pew Internet and American Life Project reported that “some 15 percent of online adults use Twitter, and 8 percent do so on a typical day,” ABC News reported.
