Karachi: I want to draw your attention towards the shortage of electricity in Karachi. The shortage of electricity is become a headache for the people of Pakistan.
The people have to face many problems because of load shedding. After every two hours there is a one hour load shedding is done. Students are unable to do home work due to frequent break-downs. The water supply is badly affected due to break downs or load shedding and people suffer due to paucity of water. The KESC is facing electricity shortfall with its own system. The service department of KESC lacks sense of duty and shirks work. It takes hours and sometimes days to remove the fault and restore the power supply. The break downs and the load shedding are affecting our national economy adversely. The electricity shortfall has hit the record level.
I request the Government and the authorities to take some serious steps towards the load shedding problem.
