Halle: Pakistan tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer moved into the Gerry Weber Open (Men’s Doubles) final on Saturday.
In a one-hour match, Qureshi and Rojer beat Poland’s Lukasz Kubot and Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny 6-2, 6-4 in the semi-final.
Earlier, the duo reached the semi-finals of French Open, but was defeated by Bob and Mike Bryan.
Qureshi and Rojer have played 13 tournaments together so far and enjoy ninth rank in the ATP Men’s Doubles rankings.
They will be facing Treat Conard Huey (Philippine) and Scott Lipsky (USA) tomorrow in the final to defend the title.
