Karachi: Mehdi Hassan, the legendary Pakistani ghazal singer, will be laid to rest on Friday at Shah Mohammad graveyard in North Karachi area of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan.

The three sons of the late ghazal singer would reach Karachi early on Friday morning, while his other relatives were present at his house in the city.

The secretary of Mehdi Hasan Foundation, Aslam Mehmood, appealed that those who wanted to participate in the funeral ceremony of Mehdi Hasan should keep in mind regarding the change of the graveyard.

Earlier different stars including Saleem Shahzad, Arshad Mehmood, Hassan Jahengir, Sohail Abidi and many others visited the residence of Mehdi Hassan and expressed their grief on the death of legend ghazal singer.
