Mumbai: Famous Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan met Italian actress-filmmaker-model Isabella Rossellini at a party on Wednesday, hosted by the owner of a luxury hotel chain, where the international celebrity expressed a desire to come to India soon.
According to Indian media reports, Rossellini is the daughter of Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman and Italian director Roberto Rossellini and is noted for her roles in films such as Blue Velvet and Death Becomes Her.

A source close to Aishwarya said that: “Though it was a brief exchange, Ash found Isabella to be very warm. They chatted on B-Town films where Isabella expressed a desire to visit India soon. Ash invited her to be her guest. Ash told her that it was a dream come true to meet her. Both had to leave soon as they had another event to attend, but they plan to keep in touch on mail.”

Other guests that attended the party included Korean actress Hyo Jin Kim, Chinese actress Li Xian Ran and Dev Patel.

“Dev and Ash were heard discussing movies in general from both Bollywood and Hollywood,” the source added.
