Lahore: Two more children, who burnt in the tragic incident in which fire erupted on Thursday in the Child Emergency Ward at the Lahore’s Services hospital, have succumbed to injuries.
Total number of children who burnt to death was raised to nine and 15 are still under treatment, most of them in critical condition.
Fire broke out due to electric short-circuit. DCO Lahore said earlier a total of 18 children of age group between 10-day to 1 year were kept in the ward.
Media reports said no precautionary measures were taken to in case of any emergency.
