California: A platform to facilitate its users to find out new and helpful apps, Facebook’s new App Center has been made functional now.
Work on recommendation from your friends usage of apps, the centre aims at helping you find the best apps to use within Facebook or on your smartphone.
Business Insider complies a list of some famous apps available on the new App Center.
Marvel: Avengers Alliance
This role-playing game takes place in Marvel’s universe. (Just like the Avengers movie.) You take command of popular Marvel characters such as Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, etc. and battle against the evil Loki’s minions.
Hulu
If you’re a big Hulu user, this app will let you share what you watch with you Facebook friends. It’s also a good way to discover new stuff to watch based on what your friends are watching.
Fandango
Fandango isn’t just about buying movie tickets. It’s also a very powerful recommendation engine for movies. If you connect Fandango to Facebook, you’ll be able to share the movies you’ve seen, reviews, etc. with your friends. That’s a really cool way to discover movies you’re missing out on.
Goodreads
Goodreads is a social network for book-lovers. You can create queues of books you want to read, rate your favorite books, and get recommendations from friends. Connecting Goodreads to Facebook gives you an even better chance to discover cool stuff to read.
Spotify
If you’re a Spotify user, you can blast everything you listen to on Facebook. That makes it easier to swap playlists with friends and pick up new tunes from other users.
Viddy
Think of Viddy as the “Instagram of video.” The app lets you take short videos on your smartphone, add some cool filters, and post them to Facebook. It’s kind of addicting.
Now that Instagram is joining the Facebook family, it’s only proper to link the app to your Facebook account. Instagram lets you push all your photos to your Facebook news feed.
Foursquare
Foursquare recently got a hefty update that focuses on venue recommendations. That’s a great reason to link the app to your Facebook account. Letting your Facebook friends know where you go makes it a lot easier to discover new places.
Airbnb
Airbnb is a platform that lets you rent out your home, spare bedroom, apartment, etc. to people who need a temporary place to crash. The app is immensely popular, and connecting to Facebook will make your search a lot easier.
ooVoo
