Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S will be launched in the US as planned amid a sales injunction request filed by Apple to a US court, Samsung Electronics said.
“Samsung believes Apple’s request is without merit. We will vigorously oppose the request,” Reuters quoted the South Korean firm as saying.
“We would also like to assure consumers that the US launch and sales of the GALAXY S III will proceed as planned.”
Last week, Galaxy S model was launched in around 28 countries, and its sales have been widely expected to start later this month in the US.
