“PPP’s medical wing members sexually assaulting nurses on night shifts in CHK “

Karachi: Members of the People’s Paramedical Staff (PPS)and People’s Youth Wing, both the offshoots of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party, stormed the office of Chief Nursing Superintendent at Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK)to squeeze her to assign night shift duty to their blue eyed female nurses.

The (PPS) member carried out abusive wall chalking against the Superintendent following her refusal to accept their demands as she has severe reservations over the assignment of night duties to some nurses.

She said complaint has been sent to Medical Superintend against the attack on her office. A local Urdu daily reported that the above mentioned group was involved in sexual harassment of nurses, especially those belonging to Christine minority. It said several nurses have been mulling over to resigns from their jobs.
