Khyber Agency: At least five militants were killed during clashes with Aman Lashkar in Khyber tribal region, state television (PTV) reported on Friday.
According to the report, six volunteers of the Lashkar sustained injuries in their operation against the militants in that was carried out in Teerah Valley of Khyber Agency last night.
Pakistan’s armed forces have been battling a home grown insurgency since 2008. The army also put in place local tribes in the fight against terrorism, providing them with weapons and other equipments.
