Karachi: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said he had abandoned UK nationality and would submit a certificate to the Supreme Court of Pakistan in this regard.
When asked to comment about SC rejected documents, submitted by his lawyer in dual nationality case, the minister said: “I will soon submit certificate, I keep something secret for sometime”
He was talking to media at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after his return from UK on Wednesday.
Malik said that the Muttahida Qaumi movement didn’t want division of Sindh and Altaf Hussain told him during his meeting in Lodon about his party’s stance on the province.
Answering a question regarding law and order in Karachi, he said those, who wanted early election should know that the polls would be held in time and the violence would not help them get early election.
He reiterated that “terrorists” Gilgit-Baltistan were involved in sectarian killings in Karachi and Balochistan.
