Islamabad: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was accorded warm welcome as he arrived at the Prime Minister House here on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Youssaf Raza Gilani welcomed the Turkish counterpart at the main entrance of the PM House. A contingent of Pakistan Army accorded guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.  Gilani introduced his cabinet members to Erdigan while latter introduced his delegation to former.

 Both the prime minster jointly chaired a meeting of the Pakistan-Turkish High Level Cooperation Council.

The meeting discussed issues related to bilateral relations and mutual concern.
