Lahore: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that laptops could not provide the youth with employment.
Speaking in Lahore during a ceremony on Saturday, Gilani said that he had allocated Rs37 billion for broadband services in the country.
Gilani said that IT centers would be established in the country, including Gilgit-Baltistan that would provide jobs to thousands of youth.
The prime minister reiterated that some elements wanted to remove him undemocratically.
He said he was an elected prime minister and had not come to power through back door.
