Karachi: Coordination Committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has expressed concern over the killing of party workers and said its patience should not be taken as weakness.

During a press conference on Friday, MQM leaders said several innocent people including the activists of the MQM had been killed during the last few days.

They said it seemed the city had been handed over to criminal elements.” We have been showing patience but it should not be taken as our weakness.

The MQM said law enforcement agencies were not functioning appropriately, adding that the killings are part of a conspiracy to pit the citizens against each other.
