Karachi: After imprisonment of 20 years in Indian jails, Pakistani scientist Dr Khalil Chishti has finally reached his home in North Nazimabad area of Karachi.

Talking to media Dr Chishti said that he is delighted to meet his family members after 20 years.

“Many of them were not even born when i was arrested in India,” he said.

He said that he was pleasured to see the arrangements made by his neighbors on his arrival adding that the people of today are loving and caring.

Replying regarding attitude of Indian government during his imprisonment, Dr Chishti said that the conduct of the Indian government was good and he spent most of his imprisonment in a farm house.

The scientist further said that 20 years were wasted for a work which could be done in one month.
