Kolkata: Last ball sixer by Bravo helped Chennai Super Kings to defeat Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in the exciting 63rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India.
Dwayne Bravo’s last ball six helped Chennai to score five runs on the last ball of the innings, thus chasing the target of 159 runs in the last ball of the innings for the loss of five wickets. Michael Hussey who scored 56 runs remained the leading run-scorer for Chennai followed by Vijay 36 and Dhoni 28.
The Kolkata bowlers bowled exceptionally well but the last ball sixer ruined their hopes of winning. Narine and Bhatia were the two bowlers from Kolkata who shared two wickets each while one batsman was run out.
Earlier 62 runs by Kolkata Captain Gambhir helped his team to set a target of 159 runs.
