Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has contacted Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan’s most organized religious-political party to join the party in anti-government movement.
Nawaz League’s chairman Raja Zafrul Haq called on head of Jamaat Syed Munawwar Hassan to discuss the movement against Pakistan Peoples Party-led government.
Raja gave personal message of Mian Nawaz Sharif, who is facing challenge of decreasing popularity in his stronghold, Punjab, to Syed.
Responding on invitation of PML-N chairman, JI chief says that if Nawaz League is serious in running a genuine anti-government movement then it should leave assemblies first.
