Mumbai: Bhatt is one of the remarkable director of Bollywood Industry giving sound and hit films to the Indian industry. His approach to make moderate budget films is a delicate bonding of content and theme.
Now Jannnat 2 hits the Indian Industry and credit goes to director and the lead actor Emraan Hashmi . In 2008, he performed marvelously in Jannat.
The film turned to be a first step of success as a lead actor in bollywood and afterwards he climbed up the rash of success with films like Raaz – The Mystery Continues, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Murder 2 and The Dirty Picture.
Jannat 2 only cements his position in the industry with the film taking an extraordinary opening.
Jannat 2 started on a strong note and performed remarkably well in single screens where it was primarily targeted. The first weekend collection is Rs 24 crores (240 million rupees) which is a very good figure for this modest-budgeted film from the Bhatt camp.
Bhatts’ strategy of making moderate-budget films, a formula of mixed drama and content, is ensuring them good returns.
The other release of the week, Fatso was considered quite well for its good story and well-brought-up performances but it failed to maintain its position due to lack of face value and tough promotions.
Yash Raj Films’ Ishaqzaade will be skirmishing with Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishhq on May 11.
Both films are looking strong bonding in their themes. Ishaqzaade is looking hot preposition for Arjun Kapoor’s debut and Parineeti Chopra starring as the female lead.
Dangerous Ishhq holds promise for being Karisma Kapoor’s comeback but its not going good and same is true for Vikram Bhatt’s proficiency in the suspenseful story.
Rest of the other two films are small productions. One of the Javed Jaffery-Nandana Sen starrer The Forest. It is directed by Oscar Award nominated filmmaker Ashvin Kumar. Amol Shetge’sLove Recipe is a comedy which introduces a new couple.
