Peshawar: At least one person was killed and several others wounded when almost five rockets landed in Hayatabad area of Peshawar, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that the rockets landed in phase VI of Hayatabad, resulting in the killing of one person and wounding several others.
“The rockets were probably fired from the tribal areas bordering Peshawar,” they said adding that the body and the injured were shifted to a local hospital in Peshawar.
The police and law enforcement agencies cordoned-off the area and started investigation as from where the rockets were fired.
