Karachi: Police on Friday arrested three men who manhandled teachers and torched principal of National College Karachi for not allowing them to use illegal means during intermediate examinations. According to reports the three students were held from Landhi town area of Karachi. The accused have been shifted to police station for investigation.
The accused are associated with a student wing of a political party.
A number of outsiders, who had been threatening the staff of dire consequences for not allowing their associates to cheat during the examination, managed to enter the college premises after the first sitting of the examination on Wednesday.
After the first session, the presence of police was negligible and political groups of outsiders ransacked the college properties and beaten up a couple of senior teachers when they refused to allow them cheating.
They misbehave with the principal and torn apart his clothes.
