Garhi Khero: Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has ruled the country for 15-year in its four-time government but did nothing for the masses.
Addressing a public meeting here, he said that PPP had always increased the miseries of the people of the country.
He said that the PPP government had not given the nation but corruption, power, lawlessness, unemployment.
He said that president betrayed the nation particularly the PML-N which was well wisher of the people.
“Can you tell me what President Zardari did for Sindhi people during his four years government?” he said.
He said that he had no personal conflict with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, adding that Gilani should have quit as the prime minister on the day when the Supreme Court convicted in contempt of court case.
He said that he had nothing to do with the power and government, rather his mission was only to bring progress and prosperity in the country.
“You (PM Gilani) chose to stand by President Zardari, now face the music because it is now too late for you to do anything to help yourself,” Nawaz Sharif said.
The PML-N president told the gathering that Bill Clinton, the former president of the US, had offered him Rs.5billion to stop nuclear test but he refused.
