Gujranwala: Punjab Health Department on Tuesday raided a house in Gujranwala and seized a large quantity of fake medicines.

The health officials said that the fake drugs included medicines of cardiac problems, blood pressure, and several other diseases.

 They said that owners of the fake medicines managed to flee before the health department officials reached the area. They added that the a two-storey building was used for storing the drugs.

Local people said that the medicines have been regularly moved through transport to different areas.
