Karachi: The authorities in Sindh have deployed a large number of Frontier Corps officials in Lyari town area of Karachi as what they said part of new strategy to rid the old locality of criminal elements.
According to reports, as many 1,000 FC personnel were deployed in the area and the paramilitary force set up at least 14 check-posts.
Media reports said that the government has decided to launch targeted operation to arrest gangster in the area.
