It’s all about dirty politics: Rana Sanaullah slams national hero Dr A.Q Khan

Faisalabad: There is a general perception that Pakistani politicians remain loyal to their parties and their party leaders instead of their motherland.

The fact was evident from Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s Sunday remarks about the founding father of Pakistan’s nuclear program Dr Abdul Qadir Khan.

He came down hard on the national hero, saying Khan had better don’t advise the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, sitting in the lap of others, referring to the Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) without taking name.

He was of the view that Khan was national hero just because of the Nawaz-League as its prime minister decided to test nuclear weapons.

However, Rana seemed to forget the fact that the Khan was who, he made Pakistan the sole nuclear power in the Muslim world and also made its defence invincible against any foreign threat.

Perhaps, Sana understand that the bomb was also created by his mentor Nawaz Sharif.

Before I comment, let me say that I am a paid up member of PTI. I am utterly disappointed by the comments left here by our youth. Rana might be wrong but you lot with the shameful language on this forum are no better either. The best way to deal with corrupt Pakistani politician would not be to become like them or act like them. Listen to your leader (Imran Khan), he wants you all to behave like him and trust me I have not heard him use swear words for others. Be different or you won’t get anywhere.

  Ejaz, whether I agree with you on PTI or not, I found your advice ‘to be decent’ worth following for our youth. We are an emotional nation and get indecent at times (which should not be the case).
  
  We all know who Dr. Qadeer Khan is and do not want anyone speak out against him. Remember Dr. Qadeer is not associated with any political party, any ethnic group or any sectarian group. He is simply a National Hero.
