Kuala Lumpur: Pakistan hockey team on Sunday qualified for Junior Asia Cup hockey after playing tie 2-2 against India in group match.

Pakistan’s Dilbar Hussain and Muhammad Irfan scored one goal each while Indian Amit and Akash Dip were the scorers.

 Pakistan would play its next group match against Sri Lanka on Monday.

Earlier, Pakistan in its first match of the event defeated China by 1-0.
