Lahore: The Pakistan People Party (PPP) on Saturday submitted a resolution, espousing creation of South Punjab, in the Punjab Assembly.
The resolution was moved by Opposition Leader Raja Riaz and other lawmakers of the PPP.
Later on, speaking to media Riaz criticized Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He said that Sharif was a convict and was involved in plane hijacking case.
