Karachi: Chief of banned People’s Aman Committee (PAC), which has been an offshoot of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party, has said that he would not surrender to police as his supporters don’t want this.
Baloch, carrying head money of two million rupees, said that he would file a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against the Lyari operation.
He said that he had asked his people to gather around Gabol Park so that he could seek their opinion.
Uzair Baloch said that he would surrender to Pakistan Rangers if the Lyari operation was ended.Talking to media outside the Gabol Park, he said that he had now nothing to do with the Pakistan People’s Party.
He said that the PPP leaders had told the people of Lyari that their demands would be met after Senate election but it launched operation instead of addressing miseries of people.
Baloch said that people of Lyari had asked him not to surrender whatever consequences might be. He announced that he would contest election from the area.
Meanwhile, a large number of people, holding Pakistani flags thronged the venue of public meeting where Baloch reached with other leaders of the PAC.
