London Mayor Elections: Have your say – vote 3rd May, How?

London: Londoners will be electing their next mayor May 3 Thursday with only one day remaining for polls.

Two for-running options so far are Borris Johnson and Ken Levingston who have been pursuing fellow citizens to elect them.

Last London elections resulted in win of Johnson that was held on 1st May 2008.

     It’s amazing that none of the candidates had “Rent review” in their manifesto. Why! because it suits the rich of this country to avoid the subject as they all receive rental income from properties they own (most likely). It’s the biggest tax people pay and the biggest subsidy payed by the squeezed middle of this country. It’s time this was top of the agenda of the main political parties. Why are we subsidising greedy lanlords, “it’s ridiculous” that I can rent a two bed apartment in Germany for 3000 euros PA and not be able to do the same in the UK.
