Babar Awan removed from PPP manifesto committee

Islamabad: In what appeared to be a last nail in the coffin, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)  has removed Babar Awan from its manifesto committee, sources said on Wednesday.

The sources said that Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has been appointed new member of the committee.

Earlier on Tuesday, former law minister Babar Awan was removed as vice president of the PPP and the party’s office was also shifted from his residence.

Farooq Awan, a brother of Babar Awan has also resigned as Special Adviser to Prime Minister.
