Karachi: Bhoja Air says it will pay Rs. 5,00,000 to families of every passenger became victim in its plane crash, leaving all people aboard dead on Friday April 20.
Since the crash incident, the airline is under severe criticism of showing negligence in flight safety standard operating procedures.
The administration of Bhoja has asked families of victims to contact with original National Identity Card, Heirship document and other legal details to claim the initial amount.
Legal experts from Civil Aviation Industry say that every victim’s family is likely to get Rs. 5 million on account of insurance claim.
“However certain amount could be determined only after examining rules and regulations of insurance and consulting related insurance firm,” they added.
“As an initial amount, Bhoja has decided to pay Rs. 0.5 million to families.”
Bhoja Airline has also announced to resume flight operation from Multan, Islamabad and Karachi on Friday, May 4.
To carry on domestic flight operation, the company has obtained a plane from a private firm.
