Karachi: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Nokia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to facilitate customers of both companies.
According to this agreement, SSGC customer services such as bill information, payment update information, GIS mapping and customer complaint management services will be available to Nokia users right on their mobile phones.
The two companies also planned to introduce online payment facilities in future. SSGC’s Deputy MD (Corporate Services), Zuhair Siddiqui said SSGC continuously strives to expand its reach in facilitating its customers.
He said majority of Pakistanis use Nokia phones for their mobile communication needs, which made it easier for SSGC to offer these services by capitalising on Nokia’s popularity in the market. “Our customer service will now be available on select Nokia phones for easy information access and better service experience,” he said.
Arif Shafique, GM, Nokia Pakistan and Afghanistan said, “Nokia is committed to connecting the next billion by offering mobile services in Pakistan that will complement their lifestyle and add a new level of convenience in their lives”.
