IPL 2012: Delhi thrash Mumbai by 37 runs

Delhi: Delhi Daredevils has defeated Mumbai Indians by 37 runs in the 36th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) played at  Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, India.

Mumbai Indians failed to chase a huge target 208 runs and scored only170 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Rayudu who scored 62 runs remained the leading run scorer followed by Karthik 40. The other batsmen failed to cross 20’s.

The Delhi bowler take full advantage of the huge target and restricted Mumbai to 170 runs. Irfan Pathan Shahbaz Nadeem and Yadav took two wickets each while Morkel and Agarkar shared one wicket each.

Earlier due to the blistering innings of 73 runs on 39 balls by Virender Sehwag helped Delhi to set a huge target of 208 runs.
