BQATI delegation meets with PTCL officials

Karachi: A delegation of Bin Qasim Association of Trade & Industry (BQATI) met with SEVP, Business Zone South Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Mr. Furqan Habib Qureshi and his team at a Dinner in a local hotel.

The dinner was arranged by BQATI in Qureshi’s honour.

BQATI delegation led by its Patron in-chief & Founder President Mian Muhammed Ahmed, President, Mr. Usman Ahmed, Vice President, Mr. A. Rasheed Jan Mohammed, Chairman Legal & Finance Advisory Committee Mr. Shakil Ashfaq, Co-Chairman Law & Advisory Committee Mr. Farhan Zafar, Chairman Law & Order Committee Mr. Farhan Ansari, Member Managing Committee Mr. Mohammed Ali Haider, Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed, Mr. Salim Dada and Mr. Amin Dawood member of BQATI Managing Committee were present at the dinner.

Mr. Usman Ahmed President BQATI & Mr. A. Rasheed Jan Mohammed, Vice President-BQATI, appreciated PTCL Management for taking lead and termed BQATI & PTCL as partners in progress for the growth of economy. He said that trade and industry are driving force of the economy and henceforth BQATI is committed to facilitate the trading and industrial concerns. BQATI President said the telecommunications sector playing a vital role in promotion of trade and industry.

Mr. Qureshi said that today PTCL was not just the telephone company of Pakistan, but it was the integrated telecommunications company of Pakistan. He said that PTCL was the last company to enter in Pakistan’s broadband market, and yet today it was the largest broadband provider in the country. He said, “Our deep passion has been to transform PTCL from a state monopoly dominating market to a world-class telecom company of Pakistan.”

Mr. Qureshi said that PTCL was under concluding phase to revamp the infrastructure on optic fibre particularly in the industrial zones. He elaborate that the PTCL had already minimized the subscribers’ complaints and with the introduction of new services and new generation telephone exchanges, the complaints would definitely be decreased.
