Karachi: National Accountability Bureau Chairman Admiral (ret) Fasih Bukhari has claimed that he has found a method to eradicate corruption from Pakistan. However, he didn’t mention the method.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that the country had sunken in the corruption but it could not be eradicated immediately.
He said that cases of corruption against President Asif Ali Zardari were pending in NAB courts due to immunity enjoyed by the president.
He said that small cases were being referred to police the FIA and other agencies while the major corruption cases would be probed by the NAB.
Bukhari said that former attorney general Malik Qayum had promised to return to Pakistan till April 30.He said that investigation against Qayum were underway and Red Warrents would be issued against him if he didn’t return till April 30.
He said that 300 new investigation officers were recruited to expedite the investigations.
