Multan: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Mohammad Usman Bhatti has won the by-elections in PP 194 constituency of Multan, sources said on Thursday.

The sources said that PPP candidate acquired 20416 votes in the election.

“He was followed by PML-N candidate, Moin-ud-Din Qureshi, who gained 20097 votes,” they added.

Earlier the provincial assembly seat was evacuated when PML-N member Shahid Mahmood joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
