A US woman who suffered a fatal brain aneurism has given birth to twin boys weeks after she was declared brain dead, media reports said on Tuesday.
According to reports, Christine Bolden, 26, of Michigan, was 21 weeks pregnant when she suddenly felt a terrible pain and collapsed to the ground in early March.
Two aneurisms carried in her brain since birth had burst and shortly after Ms Bolden was declared brain dead.
The reports said Ms Bolden’s family decided to keep her on life support with the twins still alive inside her.
“We used to rub on her belly and talk to the babies,” the woman’s aunt Danielle Bolden was quoted by media as saying..
