Gilgit: Matric exams, which were earlier postponed after the eruption of sectarian violence 13 days ago, have been cancelled on Tuesday.
The papers were supposed to be held from April 4 to 20, but had been postponed due to disturbing situation of the area.
According to assistant controller of Federal Board sub-office, new date of exams would be announced later.
Meanwhile, the exams of FA and FSc, starting from April 26, will be held according to schedule.
