Sanaa: At least 43 al-Qaeda militants were killed in airstrikes in Yemen’s southern province of Lahj, military officials said on Tuesday.
Associated Press quoting the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the country’s forces took control over a mountainous area the province. The forces pounded al-Qaeda hideouts there for the past three days, he added.
