Habib Baloch, Ali Magsi names put on ECL

Karachi: Interior ministry has put names of Habib Jan Baloch and Ali Ahmed Magsi on Exit Control List (ECL), sources said on Tuesday.

The sources said that both people would not be allowed to leave Pakistan.

Giving his response on the issue Habib Jan Baloch, leader of Friends of Lyari, told media that he would not be scared from the false case and he had informed British High Commission in Pakistan regarding the matter.

Baloch further said that Interior Minister Rehman Malik has put his name in the ECL in order to please Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) adding that he hired lawyer Mujeeb Pirzada and would file a plea against the decision in the courts.

It is to be mentioned here that the developments came after MQM filed a case against the murder of its two members in Karachi against Ali Ahmed Magsi and Lyari Aman Committee.
