Dr Adib Rizvi offers legendary pop singer Alamgir kidney treatment

Karachi: Dr Adib Rizvi Professor and Director Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) has offered veteran Pakistani pop singer Almgir, who has been considered pioneer of pop singing in the country,  medical treatment at the institute.

Alamgir, suffering from kidney problem, has come to Pakistan for treatment.

The singer was diagnosed with complete renal failure in 2004 and has been undergoing regular dialysis for the past few years

A Pakistan newspaper claimed that several TV and stage actors and singers have assured Alamgir of their support.

It is to mention here that Alamgir has been living in Bangladesh and facing severe financial crisis. He was supported by old Pakistani film couple Shabnam and her husband Santosh Kumar. They have been providing every possible financial assistant to the legendary pop singer.
